Sichuan open- Tibet still closed

While Tibet still remains closed to tourists and foreign journalists, the Sichuan province of china is already open, everybody can visit it and report how good the Chinese government takes care of the people.

But the only one who is responsible for that is the „Dalai Lama clique“. That's what Qin Gang, the spokesman of the foreign ministery wanna make us believe. Like always.

Well, I believe, that the Chinese government wants to seal off Tibet, so that they can conduct a security crackdown without foreign witnesses.

But to open the Sichuan province is good propaganda, and, if enough tourists are visiting the area, also good for cash.

The only question is, for what this money will be used for...reconstruction, the Olympics, or for the Chinese peoples army to hold down Tibet...
